Heidi is self-imposed, productive, reliable and exceptionally organised. She has been assisting in the “Introduction to Information Processing Science” course at University of Oulu during 2016- 2019, of which I have been responsible teacher since 2017. Heidi had taken a leadership role among teachers and practically managed all course practicalities, which really made my work easy. The course was transformed to be studied fully remotely in autumn 2017, and she was responsible for the digital learning environment. My experience is that Heidi is already finished when others just start to think deadlines.

Heidi has been assisting me in the course “Introduction to Software Business” at University of Oulu during 2016-2019. She has been very efficient, organized, proactive, independent, and reliable in her work and, due to that, it has been a great pleasure to work with her. She has actively developed teaching methods in the course. Her teaching has been learner-oriented and friendly to the students but at the same time she has tried to find ways for how teachers can do their work more efficiently and saving their resources, still maintaining the quality of teaching. She is very good and comfortable with different digital tools/environments used in teaching.

I have known Heidi for 14 years, during that time she has been both a student of mine and a colleague here at Luleå University of Technology. Heidi stood out as a student. She is ambitious, learns easily, delivers on time and is very good at speaking and writing. Because of these qualities, she was also employed at the division. She worked with us between 2007-2013 in different information security related research projects and in teaching. She was the main teacher of the bachelor level Knowledge Management course over several semesters, and assisted in the teaching of several master level courses and in supervision of master thesis. Throughout her employment, Heidi did a very good job, she is a nice person and easy to work with. Based on her skills, ambition, self-expression and what she has already accomplished, I am confident that she will continue to produce good work in the academia.
